So it has finally warmed up here in New England and it is making my spirit soar! Theres nothing like the first days of summer.

The wedding was a success. As you can see I've uploaded just a few of the pictures from the day. Although it was my first wedding I think I did a pretty good job. Still much to learn about portraits and positioning and other things. That will come with practice and doing more functions. I got to fool around with a Canon Rebel XT d-SLR. I believe that I will soon be getting the Canon Rebel XTi soon. Fell in love with it. (Just need to save up the money).

So now that summer is here I will hopefully be taking more and more pictures. In a week I will be on a plane headed to South Dakota for a few days. I'm sure I will have a ton of pictures from the trip to share. Right now the Alaska trip in August has been canceled due to lack of money and rising flight prices. Just not affordable now. A big bummer. The Michigan trip is still on however so there will be plenty of pictures from then as well.

In the next week I will be taking photos for my friends baseball team -the Dukes. Those will be uploaded to their team website as well as here as long as I get clearance from the parents.

Well thats about all the news/updates I have for now. I hope you all are enjoying the warm weather. Its very nice. Check back regularly this summer.

It has been snowing non-stop all week making everyone cranky and the roads a mess. I'm ready for spring and I think so is the rest of New England. Yes, I know it is only 1/2 way through February but still. We've gotten a lot of snow this year. I miss the sun!

Anyway, I'm feeling somewhat creative for this weekend. Maybe I will attempt to start making the stained glass window for my grandmother. Or maybe I will finish the snowflake I began making in December. Either way, hopefully I will be somewhat productive on the artistic front and can/will later upload pictures of my products.

Now I'm off to read the handbook for my new job. Theres a test today. Hurray (insert sarcastic tone).

So its the end of the year again. 2007 flew by. I hope it was as good for all of you as it was for me overall. Officially a sophomore though I've been in school for 5 semesters. Finally have a direction for my life which is really good. I have a goal to work toward now.

The commissioned stained glass piece came out amazing. Sold it for $350 and the guy loved it. Hopefully will upload a picture soon. As for photography, the end of the year was just too busy.

Looking forward to producing some great work in 2008. Keep an eye out.

Its time for change again. New semester, new professors, new schedule... the works. Not really looking forward to this year too much, but hopefully it will bring me closer to where I need to be in life. It's somewhat frustrating that I am so behind. I am ready to be done with the schooling and just in my career.

As for my art, right now I have been commissioned to make a stained glass piece. I am about 1/3 done. Will be posting the final result up here when it gets to that point. Photography is somewhat at a standstill. Have taken some pictures of kids recently but need to get permission from the parents before I can/will post them. Its the one and only plus from working at a daycare.

Nothing else is new except I want to say to those who see my artwork, what do you want to see from me in terms of photography.

Well... summer is finally underway in the north east! spent the past couple days at the beach just relaxing. nothing to care about. it was really nice. got back from Disney a couple weeks ago. have a lot of pictures to be uploaded to this thing so ya'll to see. many good ones from animal kingdom and sea world. had a good time but it was nice to come home. haven't been doing a whole lot of picture taking lately b/c between work and everything else well... time is running real short and energy is never real high. but lets see...

finished my 2nd year of college and finally know where im headed with this life of mine. im eventually going to be a physical therapist and maybe have a photography side business later down the road but for now im going to focus on going to school and pursuing the health careers. its pretty intense i must say.

this past weekend marked the 3 year dating anniversary of me and my boyfriend. that was exciting and totally off the topic of art. but hey, who reads this thing anyways?? we talked about getting engaged within the year. that would be awesome.

looking ahead for the summer, work most of the time making no money but paying back all the money i owe... bummer. gotta be done though. anyways.... if your reading this then.. i dont know what to tell you. hope your life is going the way you want it to.
